Magic frost
Ice can appear in fantastic forms. That can have crystal structure as in snowflakes, but also can be amorphous like icicles. I love to photograph ice, even it's really uncomfortable to handle my camera, because I cannot use it with gloves on my hands. Best, when it's very cold and the weather is clear and sunny, but it is very rare here. Fog and darkness is more common.
The following photos are all original, taken with Olympus E410.

Wow those pics with just enough light!
The crystals are really awesome!
But I have problems figuring out the perspective of the first picture, looks like it's upside down :D
greetings, Constantin
I love to take photos of ice and frost as well. Although, after last winter when I stayed in USA and it was so FROZEN and cold, I'm a bit gun shy of ice and snow now. However, Christmas morning here I took some photos of the frost on the moss and graves in the chruchyard. It was truly lovely, but happily melted away by the afternoon.
Wonderful photos indeed and Happy New Year!
Thank you dear Donna! I would love to go to the mountains, for example Transylvania, to photography pines, covered of thick snow.
