[ENG-SPN] When Anima met Ánimus / Cuando Ánima encontró a Ánimus

Whenever I walk through this special corner so partially hidden in that true poem of Art and Nature that is the universal Parque del Retiro in Madrid, a film comes to mind - a place where the nostalgic person expresses solidarity with the labyrinths of memory by Rob Reiner, whose title, 'When Harry Met Sally', evokes in me, with irremediable persistence, that accumulation of unknown archetypal circumstances, which, being a notable source in which the wizard of the Alps' thirst for inner knowledge was quenched, the Swiss Carl Gustav Jung, define that emotional state of triumphs and failures - that is, with the permission of the admired Petrarch - that establishes the relationships between two ambivalent entities, although inevitably predestined to understand each other: the Anima and the Animus.

White as the supernatural skin of those unattainable nymphs that stood out so singularly in Bécquer's musical literature, the Anima awaits, under the arch that delimits the mysterious horizons of the Pleroma, for that other carefree mocker of the roads, the Ánimus, who, harnessed on the back of a chestnut black man, he plays his inevitable role as seducer, looking for harmony, not always easy to achieve.

Siempre que paseo por este rincón tan especial y tan parcialmente escondido en ese verdadero poema de Arte y Naturaleza que es el universal Parque del Retiro de Madrid, me viene a la memoria -lugar donde el nostálgico se solidariza con los laberintos del recuerdo- una película de Rob Reiner, cuyo título, ‘Cuando Harry encontró a Sally’, me evoca, con irremediable persistencia, ese cúmulo de incógnitas circunstancias arquetípicas, que, siendo una notable fuente en la que abrevó la sed de conocimiento interior del mago de los Alpes, el suizo Carl Gustav Jung, definen ese estado emocional de triunfos y fracasos -dicho sea, con el permiso del admirado Petrarca- que establece las relaciones entre dos entidades ambivalentes, aunque inevitablemente predestinadas a entenderse: el Ánima y el Ánimus.

Blanca como la piel sobrenatural de esas inalcanzables ninfas que tan singularmente destacaron en la musical literatura de Bécquer, el Ánima espera, bajo el arco que delimita los misteriosos horizontes del Pleroma, a ese otro desenfadado burlador de los caminos, el Ánimus, que, enjaezado a lomos de un negro alazán, interpreta su inevitable papel de seductor, buscando una concordia, no siempre fácil de alcanzar.
