Sunset at the Lake Wörthersee / Sonnenuntergang am Wörthersee
After some time I photographed a sunset at Lake Wörthersee again today. | Nach einiger Zeit habe ich heute wieder einmal einen Sonnenuntergang am Wörthersee fotografiert. |

Thank you @pixresteemer :)))
This is the most atmospheric photograph of the landscape, which I saw! Great shot, my friend @Johannpiber! Many words, this is superfluous, here you need to look!
Thank you so much, my friend @barski 😊
It was a really nice sunset, although I was a bit too late ;)
I like the muted shades a lot! Everyone shoots dramatic flaming sunsets. Nothing wrong with that but i think the more subtle is really good too.
Thank you so much Ross, I fully agree, and I personally don't like those dramatic flaming sunsets, although I photograph them too ;)
I felt weird saying that because sunsets are so popular. I actually totally stopped shooting any because i was so sick of the non-stop posts of them i would see on social media. It Hasn't really "paid off" for me though. ; )
I agree again, but I also think, that many times sunsets and sunrises are more beautiful on the opposite site, apart from the blue hour.

Your opposite side shots are great!
Thank you 😊
So delicate the soft layers of mountain ranges! I envy those who live the white mansion by the lake!!
I would enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine in the evening!

I have been in this castle years ago, before someone bought it and restaurated it. Although it was very desolate when I was there, the view from the terace, in the morning, having breakfast there was stunning :)
So, it’s now a restaurant! Must be suite old! May be with some ghosts!

Sorry, with restaurated I meant that they repaired the Castle 😆 I don't know what's in there now 🤔
But some Ghosts are in there for sure 😆👻

Beautiful scenery of the lake and wonderful mountains view at sunset! It looks peaceful and relaxing moment indeed. Great shot! ;)
Thank you so much, @tangmo 😊
Yes, it was a really nice time, when I photographed this beautiful sunset.
You're welcome! Yeah! That's really excellent moment to admire this beautiful scenery indeed. ;)
You say it 😊
^__^
Beautiful photograph dude :).

Wow, what a compliment, @anaerwu, thank you so much 😊
howdy sir johannpiber! hey is this the best you can do? lol. just teasing, it's fabulous, I'm looking at it and it's so amazing that it looks like you did something to it, like it could not be that stunning on it's own!
What about that castle though? Can we get better, closer shots of that next time?
Good morning, @janton 😊
Of course, I could do better, but I think that's good enough ;) ... thank you so much for the compliment :)))
Some images do not need much of editing - just straighten the horizon, cropping and a bit enhancing the flat raw colors.
Because this castle is now private property I don't know if I am allowed to publish photos, but I have found this old one in my archives:
Howdy sir johannpiber! wow look at that place and look at their view! I wonder how much a place like that costs? lol.
thanks for the photo sir johann! It's a beauty.
Hello @janton :)
I have read somewhere of a price at over 6 million Euros. The view from there is phantastic. I have been there many years ago, long before it has been sold.
howdy today sir johannpiber! oh you went there before but you probably weren't taking pictures back then right? Did you get to go inside? 6 million is a little pricey. lol.
Hello @janton,
No, unfortunately, I didn't take pictures then. When I was there, I was inside also, but the castle was empty and inside very desolate and urgently in need of repair everywhere. You wouldn't have liked the inside view, believe me.
Howdy sir johannpiber! oh I love that kind of house. Mrs. J and I spent many years fixing up broken down old places, so that would be a blast! In fact our current house was so bad that nobody wanted it! lol.
Oh, then you would have had some fun in this castle. It was dangerous to walk, because the floorboards were brittle and Masonry fell from the ceiling :)
What a view! 😍
Thank you 😁
