Rock Tree Symbiosis / Baum Felsen Symbiose

Did the tree split the rock or did it just use the existing crack in the rock to grow in it?

Hat der Baum den Felsen gespalten oder hat er nur die bereits vorhandene Felsspalte genützt, um darin zu wachsen?

I drive through the Soča Valley very often and just before the village of Kal Koritnica I always see this rock with the ingrown tree on the other side of the Soča, but there is no space to park the car right here. Yesterday, I found a small spot a few hundred meters away next to the road that was big enough for my car.

Ich fahre sehr oft durch das Soča Tal und kurz vor dem Ort Kal Koritnica sehe ich immer diesen Felsen mit dem eingewachsenen Baum auf der anderen Seite der Soča, aber gerade an dieser Stelle gibt es keinen Platz, um das Auto zu parken. Gestern habe ich aber ein paar hundert Meter weiter eine kleine Fläche neben der Straße gefunden, die groß genug für mein Auto war.

Because the water in the river has decreased somewhat, a large area of the river bed is dry and I could walk there in the direction of this tree. The last 200 meters I had to fight through the undergrowth next to the river, which was not a problem, and in the end there was only the river between me and my photo motif.

Weil das Wasser wieder etwas zurückgegangen ist, ist eine große Fläche des Flussbettes trocken, und ich konnte dort in Richtung dieses Baumes gehen. Die letzten etwa 200 Meter musste ich mich dann durch das Unterholz neben dem Fluss kämpfen, was aber kein Problem war, und am Ende war nur noch der Fluss zwischen mir und meinem Fotomotiv.

Somehow the tree and the rock look as if they belong together - they have joined into a kind of symbiosis, although I do not know where the advantages for such an connection could be.

Irgendwie schauen der Baum und der Felsen so aus, als ob sie zusammengehören würden - sie sind eine richtige Symbiose eingegangen, obwohl ich nicht weiß, wo die Vorteile für eine solche Vereinigung sein könnten.
