Daisy / Gänseblümchen
Bellis comes from the Latin word bellus, which means nice or beautiful, and perennis means as much as everlasting, because the daisy actually blooms most of the year. |

This flower is so small and unimpressive at first sight, but when look at it closer, you can see all of its beauty. This little daisy beautifies any boring green lawn.

They are nice, aren't they? I lay down very seldom for a photo, but for this daisy I did lay down on the wet grass, and this little fly with the name "noidea" was a nice addon to the photo ;)

Ohh yes this daisy was worth laying down for without a doubt,m I dont lay down often for photos either , not that laying down is the problem, getting back up is the hard part lOL
Getting back up is hard, I agree to that, but it's not the hardest part - the hardest part for me is to want to get up again, when I am laying on a nice meadow between beautiful smelling flowers 😉 lol
Well yes that is an excuse to stay down there are the grass and flower levels for longer without a doubt
... but when then the red ants come and start biting, getting up is very easy ;) lol
Ohh yes that would for sure motivate one to get up in a hurry

Simply wonderful. In my country they are called "Margaritas"
We call the bigger versions of the daisy flowers Margerite. The small ones, which I show in this post are called "Gänseblümchen" what means something like "Geese flowers" in English.

Ich mag dieses Blümchen sehr! Wie sähe ein Rasen ohne sie aus??? Ich glaube sie öffnen und schließen ihre Blüte je nach Wetter oder Tageszeit...
