Thanks! Oh I think you mistook the 60 megapixels for my camera. My camera was just a Canon 60D with a 17-40mm F4 L USM lens. I took multiple shots and stitched them together into on larger photo matrix. All those photos made the total image size bigger, which also made the megapixel count higher. Sorry for the confusion!

No I understood what 60 megapixels meant :) but i didnt know of the method which you created the image or the specific camera you used, but that is very interesting ! Very skilled.

Ah yes, anytime you hear the term photomatrix it means a grid of photos stitched together. While Panorama(aka pano) means images stitched together in one line.

Photomatrix example
(x = a photo)
x x x x x x x x
x x x x x x x x
x x x x x x x x

All these photos would overlap with eachother, then be merged together to make one image.

While a Panorama is like this :
x x x x x x (just one row)
