A Stump with Character [photography]
Stumps gain a unique character as they age, just like people do.
We all fall apart in our own way. I've passed this one for years on a particular trail I often walk through the forest. It never really stuck out to me as special until today. It's funny how nothing changes until everything is different. Life feels like a slide moving forward and looks like stairs looking back.
