Gig Reflections and Photos: Viandel Vineyard (Collaborative Post with @jasonrussell and @melodyrussell)
All proceeds from this post will be split among @jasonrussell, and @melodyrussell, and myself.
Special thanks to them for always being so generous with the use of their photos over the years.
Viandel Vineyard is a lovely space located in Mountain View, Missouri, in the heart of the Ozarks and within ten minutes of the Jacks Fork River, and I have had the opportunity to play there over the past few years, not only in an absolutely beautiful space, but surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones from my hometown.
Another of the special elements of this show is that I get to share the stage with Dustin Miller, my friend of over 15 years, my musical brother from another mother, and an absolutely incredible musician.
Dustin and I have played music together since we were kids...literally. He moved to my hometown and we became friends in high school band. As the time went on, we started experimenting with recording techniques, and Dustin has recorded most of my completed recordings to date, including my last album, The Friendship Confidential EP.
It's a very special relationship between two friends and artists who can just get together and play two hours without practicing...which is what we tend to do, and what we did a couple of weeks ago to a completely packed house.
Playing music with Dustin has always felt like home to me. So, playing music with Dustin literally at home for my best friends and family is one of my favorite things in the entire world to do.
I've been clicking around friends profiles this morning to see if I've missed anything recently, and apparently I did! First time seeing this post. It was just awesome to see you out at Viandel the other weekend! We had to miss last years performance, so we were so happy to be there. Thanks a ton for the photo credits. @jasonrussell and I love being your photographers! ❤️
Jessooo's awesomeeeee!! @jessamynorchard!
Thank you to you and @melodyrussell for the amazing photos--but at the end of the day, our friendship is what warms my heart the most. Hippie hugs to you both.

Ohhhhh you sad bastard....
Beautiful photos and vibes :)
Bless up, @allgoodthings, and thank you!!
Thanks, Jesso! This post made me smile!!
Nice photos also they look nice too and nice posting..so too many nice..! It is amazing to know they play music together for two our without practising. Mostly musicians need a little time to adjust each other.
When you have been playing music together for 15 years, it's crazy how things can just sorta fall into place. :D
Very good photos, too bad it is not known who took which one.
From my understanding, most or all of the up-close shots were taken by @melodyrussell. Jason and Mel are such a team when it comes to awesome photos...they each have such great eyes for music photography.
