My Aurora Borealis or "Northern Lights" photos.
All of these photos were taken at Järvsö in Sweden at approximately midnight several years ago.
I used a 15-20 second shutter speed to get the sufficient light required to see this spectacle with the camera.

It's a rare site, unfortunately the best years for this were about 2-4 years back now. Something to do with the cycles of sun spots, blah blah science stuff etc. ;)

Thanks bro! :) The last 4 pics were one aurora that swirled and changed shape all the time, lasted about 15 mins. The first picture looked like it was kinda raining down lights from the heavens!
Pretty epic though, never seen something like this before.
You need to get out more.. at night.. near a polar region. 😆

I had to go out looking quite a few nights, and keep an eye on the forecast. Then it has to be clear in the sky also. Only seen it a few times in 5 years in Ljusdal.
