Colorless City
Someday a few months ago, was a colorless day for me and this for personal reasons. Let's say that there are days where everything goes down while you struggle to get on the surface, carrying on your back the heavy mood of others. A very bad combination for everyday life's evolution especially when you have programmed a few things to be done and because of the bad mood of somebody else, there is nothing done finally. That's why I decided to take some photos and publish them in an almost colorless mode. And of course, I did this just for me to feel better after a half-day full of encounters with completely colorless persons. This is one of these photos taken that colorless day. It's somewhere in Plaka the historic center of Athens which seemed to be completely colorless that day, maybe because it was also a very cloudy day if I remember well... Finally, I have to admit I don't really like this photo! But I 'll be very happy if you like it!!! Some friends of mine adore this photo, one asked me to create a poster for his office... I still didn't! Have an excellent week, the first week of real Autumn, which is also a reason for me to publish this photo. It expresses the Autumn urban style, isn't it?

I don’t know that I agree with your friend, but I don’t precisely agree with your assessment either. I find the image visually intriguing and stimulating. It would make a great addition in a collection of exhibit on urban photography, I think.

Well, I frankly don't know where I could exhibit this photo on the internet, I mean I don't know if there is any site where photographers, artists etc could add their creations to a given collection. Of course, there are sites like gurushots but it is not exactly what I m looking for, besides as I understood I have to pay for participating in some exposition or collection... I m a professional artist in the real life, I mean out of the internet and my art (not only photography) is also my way to live, to pay my obligations, food, my studio, electricity etc. So, I m not motivated into adding my creations on some platform that asks me to pay for... however, soon I 'll start to sell some of my creations on the internet as I am preparing a site for that and not only! For my next publications here I have in mind to put a selling price on some photographic creations just to have an idea of how my market could work in an original way! What about exhibiting in local galleries?

Well, the average price asked for exhibiting photos or drawings or any tangible (not digital) creation in Athens is around 120 euros for a period of 3 to 5 or rarely 7 days and it must be with other creators work. It is what I got as a result of my research here. It is not worth at least for me... Anyway, once my site is ready and... on air I 'll let you know!!!
