Winding Down With Winter Training (Original Blog)
Marcello is doing his tummy training before he will take his nap 😴. He is building up the muscles in his little body to prepare to start crawling soon and yesterday he just turned three months old. He is already able to roll around a bit and it's such a wonder to watch him grow and succeed. You can tell how focused he is at the task at hand and is growing strong indoors during the wintertime.
Harmony, as the big sister who can go outside exploring, is enjoying the winter cold air and is ready for the snow to fall once again. She has never built a snowman, but I would love to help her for her first one. She hopes everyone had a holly jolly Christmas. Little Marcello Charming is waiting patiently to see some more snow.
I can't wait until we can take them sleighing, skiing and snow tubing.
There's always a mixed and ever changing emotional balance of wanting them to be big for certain family activities, and small for the cuddling times and warm embraces of parental love.

We have a six-month-old boy and I find myself wishing he would grow up quickly and become more independent like our five-year-old. My wife keeps reminding me to enjoy every moment in their lives because they grow up way too quickly.
