Photographing the Himalayans in Infrared
Namaste!
I just came back from a month of hiking around Mt. Everest. It was an absolutely spectacular experience! I experimented with Infrared Photography, stacked some filters and learned a lot. Enjoy some of the results :)
Camera | Lens | Filter |
---|---|---|
Fuji-XT20 | Samyang 12mm | Hoya Infrared R72 |
The full series "Inframalayans" got only printed once and is exclusively hanging in an Art Gallery in Kathmandu - where it belongs :)
I hope you enjoyed it, I hiked days for those and put a lot of work in it.
Namaste my friends :)

Very cool dude! Awesome shots, looks like a kind of moonscape or something! Love a bit of IR, resteemed!
Wow, hiking in that altitute must have been tough. Don't know if I would have been able to operate a camera there
