A splash of color in the urban jungles

Nature makes us feel alive!

In 2010, a study by the University of Rochester, New York, found out that spending time in nature not only makes us feel happier, but also gives us an increased sense of vitality. That's why we feel more energetic, both mentally and physically, when we come back from the park or from a mountain trip. According to the researchers, nature brings with it a wave of energy.

Nature is refreshing!
A study based on " how nature keeps us calm" shows how it is possible when we are outdoors to press a reset button. This is a psychological process, known as the "restoration theory": "The difference between natural and urban landscapes is how they stole our attention. While man-made landscapes bombard us with stimulations , the natural counterparts give us the chance to think as much or little as we would like and gives us the opportunity to rebuild our depleted mental resources. "

Green spaces make us more creative
A 2012 study has shown that if we look at green color, our inventiveness increases. In addition to spending time outdoors distracting us from some problems, the best ideas come from where we expect and when we think less (for example, some of the best ideas come when we take a shower).

Even we are in the cities we could have ou small corner of nature! Example: Home plants or gardens inside the house or outside.
