They both look really good!
I like the sound of this feature on the FZ1000:
"Unwire your Creativity with Remote WIFI Shooting. With the Panasonic Image App, you can utilize a smartphone or tablet as a remote controller to zoom, set the focus and shoot from a distance."
I have a remote shutter on my camera, but that sounds even better!
I couldn't find out anything that said if this feature was on the LX10 though, do you know @surfyogi?
I will post on both LX10 and FZ1000, hooked up to the Panasonic Image App!

And yes, that is a COOL APP! It's the best thing about the Lumix cameras, is they work with that app; all the modern cameras: GH4, GH5, FZ1000, FZ2500, LX10, LX100
The Image App can do almost anything the UI on the camera can do; zoom in, zoom out, change focus, start stop video, take a picture. Amazing stuff!
I fixed the links, check out the image detail with an image viewer after downloading full 20MP image!
