The Drama is Strong
Oof. I think everyone on steem is watching with bated breath to see what happens with this Tron takeover. Its all so crazy stressful. If you are like me, you've been lurking in and out of discord the last few days to see what people are saying, and what the latest news has been about all this.
So to de-stress a little I started leafing through some old photos looking for inspiration for my next excursion with the camera and though i'd share this piece. Light trails in the city of Edinburgh.
Going back to the current drama, there are a lot of people who are upset, and angry about the changes and Justin's powerplay with the top 20 witnesses. Its understandable, but i think people need to keep in mind that with a new owner, comes new rules. Ned may have promised us all that the ninja-mined stake would not be used to influence governance, but that was Ned, he sold steemit and left, so unless it was stipulated in the sale contract that the new owners must abide by agreements the previous owner made with the community, he has no such obligation to us.
Also, remember this guy is a business man, and his primary objective is to make a profit.
This isn't a defence of the man, just something to consider when ruminating on his motivations during this dramatic time.
As for me, I am just going to keep posting and see what happens.
Thanks for Looking.

I agree with you 💭
Thanks, its an uncertain time for steemit. I hope it survives and comes out the other end stronger.
I hope so too. It's carnage at the moment! Good to hear a voice of reason 🕊
