The Anatomical Museum at Edinburgh University
This is the entrance to the Anatomical Museum at Edinburgh University. This is the place that has William Burke's skeleton... you know.. one half of the murdering duo Burke and Hare.
The place also houses some other incredible displays like a hand with the skin and muscle removed so you only see the nerves and veins. Stuff like that. Its gruesome as hell, but very educational. The museum is open to the public on the last Saturday of each month from 10am to 4pm.
This museum also houses the corpse of William Burke, one half of the famous serial killers burke and hare.
Thanks for Looking.

That is so cool @fiftysixnorth. Would love to visit a place like that. Too bad no pics of that hand lol
Thanks! Yeah its unfortunate but they don't allow photography inside at all.. they're quite strict about it. They have a corpse in there that is completely preserved in some material .. I want to say amber or something .. which they then sliced in 1cm slices.. so you can see any cross section of a human body .. for study of course.. its wild .. but I guess before photos and computer technology that is how it was done!
Thanks @pixresteemer :)
