Weird spring flowers...

I now it's Spring and there are so many pretty, colorful fresh flowers. But I couldn't resist of taking a few (or more) photos of those. It is my DryStuff fetish I guess. And they were just there. Standing tall among all the greenery waking up nature.

Not sure what it is, or was. Looks like a dry artichoke :p I guess it's some type of Thistle.
And even thought it is already dry as a pepper, all those thorns are still very sharp!
