I found what I was looking for
And so during one my enjoyable photo walks I found a perfectly long and slim poppy with a bud still completely close. The time was also right as the sun was slowly setting providing this golden lights and more settled colours.
And lastly - the bokeh. Oh... thank you Mr. Helios! I knew this lens can nail it even though I kept trying and didn't see it's full potential. And believe me - this is still not it. But it's close. Very close!
And so I took the toys for a walk again. Same place, same camera and same lens. And my oh my.. I got bitten by mosquitoes terrible, but every bite was worth it!

Thank you :))
the helios can be a challenge. You definitely need the light flaring directly onto the elements. Have yo done any mods. I flipped the front element on my 42. Increase bokeh but made it harder to focus.
Oh.. that's a nice one!
It was a challenge! I am not used to fully manual lenses at all. I have also tried some Takumars in the same time and for some reason, for me they were easier to work with. He is not a simple boy.
I also tried with the direct light with some cool flaring results. Not many though.
No modifications - not my lens :)

The bokeh and the magic swirl.. love both.
Ohh yeah I haven’t used mine for quite a while this post made me drop it into my bag witht he plan of using it today but its so overcast and grey it may have t wait for another ay to play with it
Mission accomplished!
But yes, you need some light and sunshine for it. To make the shadows wink at you.
Hopefully soon!
Yes Indeed, I did go for a little walk around the block just now to try it, not really enough light but was fun to play with it, today I brought in that and my macro lens not the ideal time for them but lets see if at lunchtime if I have any luck
