The Moon and A Star
Yes, A star, not stars. I was hoping to get this shot when I saw the Christmas decoration on the top floor window of the neighbouring apartment building some days ago. Yesterday I saw the moon peak out, but it was too late by then and it was going behind the building on the right. Today I spotted the star and the moon close enough each other and ran to the balcony to snap a pic. I think this was around 4pm in the afternoon because it’s still light outside.
Good night now!
Nice photography !!!!!
Thanks!
A premeditated shot :)
A rarity at that 😅
Nothing like a bit of multi-tasking: Exercise and photography 😉
Cool, you knew the shot you were trying to get and you got it!

Photographing the starry sky is next to impossible because of the light pollution in the cities. At your parents' house deep in the countryside, the prospects of shooting the sky should be much better.
You need a tripod, a wide aperture and manually setting focus not nearer than the hyperfocal distance of your particular camera + objective + f-value + focal length combination. (Here's a handy calculator: https://www.photopills.com/calculators/hyperfocal-table). You only need to consider the hyperfocal distance if you plan to have something in the foreground that you want to have in acceptably sharp focus. Otherwise you can just focus on infinity. Use no more than 10-15 seconds of exposure time because otherwise the starts will not look like dots. Use ISO 1600 as a starting point. Experiment.
If you can find an area without too much artificial light in the vicinity, it should be possible to get good starry sky shots. I'm pretty sure its just as impossible where you live as it is here. Amateur astronomers in Tampere have an observatory about 20 km to the south of the city.
