The dying town
Have you ever been to a suspended city?
If the answer is no, you should visit this wonderful place in the middle of Italy.
It's called Civita di Bagnoregio (Province of Viterbo), known as "The dying town", because is located on a plateau of friable volcanic tuff prone to an erosion.
You can rich this little city only by walking on a pedestrian bridge across the valley. The view is amazing and you can have a fantastic dinner in one of the typical restaurants.
Being there is like traveling back in time, in an almost unreal atmosphere characterized by silence, corners with traces of the past and cats sleeping on the windows hidden by the flowers.
