Red Leaves, A Car And A Cow

in #photography6 years ago (edited)

I'm trying a new experience here, have never done this before. Posting two photos, one coloured and one monochrome to compare is fun but today I thought I would try out something else.

I'm going to post three different photos, of three different subjects.

image

Let's start with a nature photography. It's the end of autumn and these red leaves are absolutely fascinating. Altering them is not always good but today there's a filter applied.

image

This photo might be strange to many of you but it was basically calling my name. The reflection on the front window is that had caught my eye. That blue looks great with the yellow leaves.

And finally a cute friend I met this summer. There's a filter applied here as well, remains to be seen if it was the right thing to do.

My question is, which one do you like and why?

Again, I really appreciate it, thank you!

Pleasure mine ;-)

To answer your question as to which one I like, the answer is all of them. They are all unique, and you did a fantastic job with the encapsulating properties I look for in photo's.

The rule of thirds is present in each one of these, and to me, this is a very important aspect of photography that some have a natural ability towards, and some fundamentally understand, and can manipulate it with their understanding. I don't have a wealth of knowledge with photography, but I know some basics, and that is not the most important aspect IMO. Here you have three photo's that capture the audience, and that is what is important!

The photo which speaks to me the most, is the reflective car photograph. I am not sure exactly which quality of this photo is so appealing, but I think it is the mixture of different qualities, that encompass a busy, exciting nature! The contrast in color is very appealing as well! The other aspect I really love about this particular photograph, is how the sun hit's the house in the back of the photo, and illuminates the red color fantastically!

Overall, you did a wonderful job. I really love this post @erikah Great job!

The reply is coming tomorrow 😊

Here I am with my reply, after reading carefully yours.

This is a new experience for me and I guess for the readers as well. My main goal was to post three photos of different subjects but different quality as well.

The first and the last is edited, I guess the same filter was applied, if not, something similar then.

The second photo is not edited. I considered that there's no need to edit it, since the reflection is the most valuable part of it and I can ruin it very easily.

I knew which one is s my favourite and it looks like there's a reason why I like it, because most if not all of you chose that one.

I was also thinking about how lucky I was or better yet how attentive I was to catch it. I could have passed easily without seeing it, these reflections are only visible from certain angles.

The other two photos are not so spectacular unless they stand alone and there is nothing to compare them with 🙂

I guess I'm going to continue this topic. It's interesting how we can see things.

Yes, there is a special quality about the second that I really like! You must have been very attentive indeed! The filter work with the other two turned out fantastic as well. Keep up the great work @erikah :)

Thank you!

Maybe futuremind only likes the second one, but I like all 3!

😀 I'm very happy to hear that.

All photls are good but I keep returning to the second one. Those reflections are simply stunning. I don't have a particular reason for liking this photo...it just makes you want to watch it over and over again. Great job, my dear Erika. 👌

Haha!!! I knew it! Now you can understand me why I couldn't leave without taking the photo! That photo speaks 😁 It's a rare occasions one can stumble upon such a scene.

Yes, we can rarely find such an amazing scenery...and clean cars. 😂
Reflections are always beautiful and this is an exceptional one. Great job! 👍

You might be right dear but this is not just a car, this is a luxury car, someone is very protective and keeping it clean. That's a very exclusive zone with expensive houses ;)
And thanks for the nice comment!
