Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
We got the first snow today. It was expected, the weather forecast I'm using was right. The temperature is dropping.
This snow however won't last, it's melting pretty fast, which is good because after all that dry period, this precipitation is needed.
This first snow has brought back some old memories. I remember when we were kids, how excited we were to see the first snow of the season. We were out playing, no matter how cold it was. I remember always coming home half frozen, we could not feel out feet or hands, our clothes were full of ice. Those were fun times :)
I'm used to having four seasons a year, although mother nature has the habit of skipping one season. Snow means winter and winter means Christmas.
This however is not the case at the other part of the world, where Christmas is celebrated at the beach in swimming suit :)
And I have to mention those who have never seen snow in their life because they only have one season.

I could never live amongst snow but i always love looking at snow pictures it just has more of that Christmas spirit to it so beautiful :)

I like snow only between 24th of December and 10th of January. 😂
We are supposed to have four seasons, meaning Winter being over by 1st of March. But lately, the weather has a different opinion. Remember last April?
Wait and see, we're going to shower snow again in March or April or both.

The forecast says that it will be dry here at least until the weekend. That makes me happy because so many people will be traveling this week for our Thanksgiving holiday, including much of my family. At last count there will be 14 here for turkey dinner, give or take a teenager or two who don't seem to be able to plan that far ahead. I'm looking forward to pumpkin pie.
I want photos of the turkey and pie! 😁
The snow is gone, it's dry again but it's cold.
I'll see what I can come up with for you! Getting groceries tomorrow so that I can make a couple different vegetables and some stuffing for the turkey and all the other assorted goodies that go along with Thanksgiving dinner. Cranberries are important too!
Salads, mashed potatoes and breads are being brought by other guests. It will be a feast!
