Small things: Introduction
Hello, Steemers!
This is my first post here and I am pretty sure you can already tell.
In addition to being absolutely inspired by the technology backing Steem and being really existed to join the movement, I also wanted to use this opportunity to really create original content, with both words and images.
In both, I like focusing on minute details, zooming in and digging into the fine grains which constitute them. So, in this first story I wanted to include a picture of a doorknob I photographed somewhere in Turkey (I don't remember anymore where exactly). It bore the number 1 instead of the door or the facade of the house and in doing so, it invited you to open rather than to knock.

Thank you, abit! I have to admit I am struggling with this. It is my own picture so it did not have a URL. I tried uploading it in different places but I still haven't worked it out. Any suggestions?
Last time we tried https://imgsafe.org/, recently https://ipfs.pics/. Will soon a upload button on steemit.
welcome! I recommend using imgsafe.org to upload your photo. They usually show up perfectly on steemit. :-)

Welcome dulila. You may want to consider tagging your post with introduceyourself. If you edit your post the top box should be for the tags and you can just add the word introduceyourself. That topic is a very popular place to post introductions and will probably get you a few extra votes.
Hey lafona! Thank you! yes I was definitely considering it, but I was not sure whether I can have more than 1 tag. Let's try :)
hm....mission impossible, it seems. I tried to edit the tag, but I didn't manage.
The other thing you can try is to add # introduceyourself (without the space) in the body of the post. You can definitely have more than one tag and I believe you can edit them, but I am not positive if both methods work.
