Happy Wine Trail Wednesday Steemit!
Once again I found myself on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, this time I stopped at Jr Dill so my mom could pick up a bottle of bubbly for an upcoming event.
It was by her recommendation that we came to this place, she's been wanting to show me the counter tops. Rather than describe them, I'll let the pictures tell the story.
Jabber Waulkie Rise
Sparkling 6% RS
For $12 a bottle, enjoy hints of concord and catawba grapes in this mildly sweet sparkling wine.
Slowly but surely I will be working my way down the entire Seneca Wine trail, check out the other two I've brought you to so far:
Generously created for me by @son-of-satire
Those are absolutely fantastic photos. There is something quite magical about the tabletops
Hehe, I like also the perspective on the wine glass where it looks giant although I suspect it is giant!
It was rather large (though not quite as large as it appears!) and my head is lightly fuzzy...hence the pictures telling the story lol!
They tell it well! I wonder why you could have been a little fuzzy... ;0)
nice post keep your great job bro :)
Love the pics!!
(I hope you take me to all these places when I come visit!!)
Have you ever been to Napa and Sonoma? Definitely among my favorite places when I go visit my sister in California. It's worth a trip out West if you ever get the chance!
I haven't, though it is definitely a place I will check out when I do go west, I'd be interested in the comparison :)
I can see why she likes those countertops, that is cool. Looks like another nice day out in the hills, I'm glad you got lots of pics.
Very cool. I couldn't remember if the woman said it was the mother of the owner or the grandmother who collected that glass for decades...and there was more to the story, which I would have put in the blog but I realized I hadn't paid enough attention, and I was in a hurry to get ready for my brother's show tonight. Found out Fairport is an awesome town, which is where he played, but of course I forgot my camera.
Does the glass look like it's from the beach? Like ground down from the surf, is what it looks like, to my eye anyway. Never heard of Fairport. He'll probably play there again, and it will maybe be the time for pics. The camera can be a burden sometimes.
I can't believe it. Even the wineries are follow begging.
Haha! I know right? It's haunting me whereever I go...
I don't know if it's just me but photo #10 of the zig zag wine holder on the wall plays tricks on my eyes. If I scroll up and down and up and down on that photo it makes it look like the wine rack is moving. lol.
It's not just you, although myn judgment might be questionable after having some of that wine...and hard cider at my brother's show tonight ;)
Beautiful place! As a photographer I would also love to photograph there. You did a great job on the shots :-)
It is, and thank you!
nice post and beauty photo ,,, you have good blog , Good luck. Comrade
Thank you! Much luck to you as well :)
Jr Dill was one of our wine tour stops when we did a graduation party at Cornell!!!
Did you guys take a limo? There really isn't a better way to do it, no worry of dd, you can drink in between stops...LOL
