Green carpet under the cotton sky in BW
I have posted the color version of this photo some time ago. But I found out that black and white works pretty well here also.

About the place
wikipedia: County Road 258, also known as Gamle Strynefjellsvegen, is a 27-kilometre (17 mi) long road that runs through the Videdalen valley between the village of Grotli in Skjåk Municipality and the village of Ospeli in Stryn Municipality. The road opened in 1894, but was replaced by National Road 15 in 1977 as the main route between the Nordfjord region and Eastern Norway. The road is closed from October to June and is designated one of eighteen National Tourist Routes in Norway. The Tystigbreen glacier lies just south of the road.
I like both. Perhaps the foreground isn't as nice in black and white but the mountains and sky look great.

Well the colour version is a damn good landscape picture!
But the BW takes it to another level, meaning that it generates completely different feelings and has a much more dramatic effect. The hole in the clouds adds a new point of interest as if something is about to come out of it!
So, in my opinion, BW gives a much more interesting picture but the final choice has to do with the use of the picture, too :)
