Have you been to the Big Island of Hawaii?

Once you reach Big Island you don't feel like you are an island, you feel like you just happen to be by a beach. It's just an enormous island and the only way you will figure that out is by driving everywhere in order to explore. The island is one of the most unique places you can go to, it has 11 of the world’s 13 eco-systems. The Only eco systems misisng are the two extremes (desert and arctic tundra). Also before I forget to mention this, they have two active volcanoes.

Look at this beach with its black sand due to volcanoes, isn't it stunning and amazing. All you want to do is lie down and relax.

If you do lie down, remember you will have to share your space with turtles. Remember if you touch or harm them there is a very hefty fine since they are a protected species.

Also its not just beaches here, they have some amazing waterfalls. Don't you just want to dive in and swim in that water? I really wanted to but you are not allowed, also the waterfall is much more powerful than it looks. If you looks carefully you will notice the tiny people on top of the falls.

There are plenty of beautiful exotic flowers you won't see anywhere else in the world. This is not the famed Lehue flower native to the big island, but pretty nonetheless.

There are also seven amazing valleys which can he hiked over the course of a week on the big island. That should give you an indication of how big the island is. Look at the flat land with the hidden black sand beach, there is a settlement there which I couldn't identify. The only way to get to that beach is by hiking and they supposedly have wild horses. The next time I am here I need to carry my hiking gear.

Last but not the least they have hidden beaches, which only the locals go to and know about. I found one and spent the day there. Lots of marine life is present and you can happily swim with them, just don't disturb them. Also carry food and water, there hidden beaches are truly desolate and there is nothing around, not even a restroom.
