Trip to France - Part 16 - Champs-Elysees, Paris

This is the street which runs from Arc De Triumph to the park just before the Louvre. It is quite famous lined with very upscale shops, cafes and more. Multi lanes of traffic in both directions all feeding from the roundabout where the Arc starts. There are several Metro stops along the way also and underground parking too.

I like to start at the Arc, go up in it to the top and then see the views from there, then walk down the Avenue until it ends. I like the view during the day, especially at dusk and even at night. Lots of people, cars, and more. Lots of locals and tourists of course. Plenty of people that live in Paris still come down this street too.

There are plenty of photo ops too along the way, with my favorite shot being of the Arc standing in the middle of the street on Chaps-Elysees about two blocks down, At dusk this shot is great as the Arc gets illuminated for night time.

This is also the street every year where the Tour De France ends on, with the riders making several circuits up and down the street to end the Tour for that year.
