Old sentinel - Smederevo Fortress, Serbia [Black and White World]
Monumental walls on this photo are Smederevo Fortres in Serbia. This medieval fortress was capital of the Serbia in Middle Ages. It is often described as one of most striking monuments in whole Serbia. Fortress was heavily damaged in World War II by explosion of ammunition depot which devastated fortress and almost destroyed the town. Restoration of fortress is undergoing task for more than 15 years, but due to lack of funds, process is painfully slow.
Photo shows part of southeastern wall which suffered the greatest damage in explosion. Beautiful place, favorite walking and relaxing area, this fortress is one of those places you should put on your bucket list if you are visiting Serbia.

Da, cak i u ovom stanju je velelepna, a tek kad bi bilo para da se restaurira. Mislim da samo zbog toga jos uvek nije na World Heritage listi UNESCO
Poceli su sa restauracijom letos. Jedan deo je odradjen, pa da vidimo dokle će stići. Verovatno dok se ima para... Inače, mali grad koriste za snimanje serije Nemanjići.
Ih cuo... pa stajao sam dva sata sa cerom da dobije autogram i 'ON' se nije pojavio... ne pitaj me ko, nemam pojma, a ako je jos jednom budem pitao kako se zove, ozbiljno cu nagrabusiti ;)
Neko od ovih dečaka, novih glumaca? A moje devojčice još gledaju Nindza Kornjače. 😂

Uzivaj dok je tako, sada pola vremena ne razumem o cemu pricaju :)
Odlična fotografija i motiv je fenomenalan. Utvrda je moćna ne može se reći. Jedna od većih u ovom djelu Europe. Namjeravam posjetiti u bližoj budućnosti.
