Some Morning Views

Woke up this morning to snow falling. Schools are two hours late so far but could be changed to closed. It is a heavy wet snow falling that sticks to the trees and power lines. We aren't suppose to get much but when it stops, the weather is calling for more winds. The winds this time are not suppose to be as bad as it was several days ago. The news is saying it may cause more downed trees and power lines though. My in-laws were suppose to, finally, get their power back on last night. I haven't talked to anyone yet to find out if they did but they do have a generator for the necessities and a fireplace for heat. Most people in the area have power back but not all. I feel bad for the trees that had buds that opened but I'm sure they will be okay in the long run. Not really surprised as we've had two foot snowfalls in March before. Luckily, the roads are in good condition and are mostly just wet. I went out on the porch and took some photos and opened a window in the back to get a few photos of the trees back there. It is quite pretty looking the way the snow is laying on the trees and I thought I'd share some of those with you. Don't worry, Spring is just around the corner! When Summer gets here we will probably be complaining about the heat and wishing it was Autumn!!
