A Walk into Postcards - A Short Trip to Okunikko and Senjogahara (original)

in #photography7 years ago

In recent years, Japan has been a top favorite travel destination for my family. We developed this preference accidentally by the low prices of Japanese Yen and later were trapped into Japan's unique culture and beautiful sceneries, oh, and the cuisines as well!

In this post, I am going to share some photos taken with you from our short 2-day trip during our major Tokyo one week journey. We weren't expecting much but the sheer beauty of nature made us astonished again and again and we quickly recovered our energy from the tiresome shopping spree in Tokyo before this short trip.

This short trip was to Okunikko (奧日光)and Senjogahara (戦場ヶ原,せんじょうがはら).

Let the photos speak for us. Include our neat and simplistic accommodation as well. Hope you enjoy them!

really beautiful pics. Great post! Steem ON!!

thanks for your appreciation. :)

Beautiful, I thought Japan was a very expensive place to visit.

it depends. you have quite a lot of travel options. in general traffic expenses are hard to save. for dining and lodging you can always find cheaper options.

I always think of Japan as being full of people. But it looks like there is a lot of nature, too. I especially like the first 3 photos!

thanks for feedback. I know, you tend to think there are people everywhere but not really. Even in big cities, sometimes you don't see many people on the street ... they are all UNDERGROUND!

haha, I had no clue about the underground part. Wow.

Really nice shots! Thanks for sharing! Upvoted and I followed you.

thank you and thank you!

Thanks. Never had chance to see this side of Japan when I was there in April.

You are welcome, man...
