Canadian Rockies in April ~ Photo blog
Both photos were captured at Lake Minnewanka. Located inside Banff National Park. It was so warm that afternoon that we were able to hike in shorts and t-shirts. It was a great day to experience the Canadian Rockies!
The Mountain in View is named Inglismaldie, and to the left is Mount Girouard.

I've lived here a long time....and I can honestly say I've never looked up the name of that mountain. I always thought of it as just 'minnewanka'

I was actually there for ceremony. Only got one photo at the end. I almost forgot to get a snap! The ice was three feet thick last Thursday. Was gorgeous today!!
