In one image, a new bud springs up and rises toward the sun above 3 beautiful mature flowers. In the next a mature beauty fades as three new buds emerge.

I really enjoy the story in each of these images. Both flowers are beautiful, each at a different stage of sharing their colors.

Tomorrows Gift;

Tomorrow will be a grand day for this little bud. I hope I get a chance to go back and take an "after" shot. Lucky little flower gets to enjoy waking up on a bed of pink beauty.

Still Giving;

I feel a real kinship with the beauty, it has given much and still remains very relevant.

It is weathered and worn and still very pink. Maybe as I am now 40, I really appreciate this flower.

Notice how three new buds surround it and are waiting their turns.
