Zebra Trees
I used to call these trees Zebra trees when I was young. The stark contrast of black and white, and the lines made me come up with that name when I was a kid. The real name is of course Birch tree, and it's very common in the northern hemisphere.
I took this photo today close to my dads house, I really like this tree. The texture of the tree is so beautiful against the bright green colors from the leaves.
Wish you an awesome weekend and catch you on the next post !
They are so beautiful @dandesign86 . Have a nice weekend too !
Thank you and enjoy your weekend !
Great to be reminded of the simple birch tree. When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time in nature, and was around a lot of birch trees, as well as others. Never though of the zebra idea.
"Zebra" trees always remind me of my early school life... they were all around the school property here in NW WA
I also find something sentimental about them
Love the birch trees! I grew up surrounded by them but where I live now there aren't any around.
They usually grow in more cold climates, where did you grow up ?
I grew up in the upper midwest of the U.S....now I am in Florida with live oaks and palm trees, which are also beautiful in their own way lol.
Damn, it's really hard to compete with palm trees that's for sure haha
