Following from Rosemarkie beach and Cairds Cave, on Rosemarkie beach and Hillockhead circuit, we went past some magnificent rock formations.

As we strolled past these bigs rocks, I imagined what it must be like during the high tide, when the waves crash against them and foam! I would rather not be here then....

These rocks are only a few meters away from Cairds Cave. We stopped to take some photos and examine lichens growing on them when I noticed another cave! The walk description didn't mention it at all. We decided to have a look.

Unlike the previous cave, which is more of a rock shelter, this one has some dark depths to it! It isn't a big cave but it certainly makes an impression.

If you ever happen to do this walk be sure to explore the cliffs! Who knows what else might be hiding there! I am not entirely sure which one of the two is the Cairds cave but both are surely worth a look.

Ill creep out in a cave

You can't really get lost in it. You can see the light of the entrance from the deepest point. It is fairly straight.

I no just the fear for dark places

Thank you for looking! :)
Dark places are not for everyone. I personally like the creepy feeling I get in the dark. It's just as well because in winter we get around 7 hours of daylight here. Scotland is a dark place during the cold season! :D
