7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday - the absolute winner takes 150 SBD!
Hello fellow steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday- where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Europe.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Hi. I forgot the Australian challenge yesterday so I'll use the this photo of the ocean from Byron Bay for today's challenge. Australia has some of the worlds best beaches and this is just one of many :)

I took this photograph going down this epic staircase in the Vatican, Rome. The architect based it on a Fibonacci Spiral which is found in various natural structures such as plants and shells.

The photo was taken during a cruise trip from Amsterdam to Newcastle(UK) in March 2014, at the moment I was on the ship at the harbor of Amsterdam.

Today I want to share this picture of a famous church in Dresden, Germany - Die Frauenkirche. It was destroyed in World War II and they started rebuilding it in 1994. My grandpa donated quite a huge amount of money to the rebuilding process which is really cool.
The trip to Dresden was really special because I proposed to my wife :)

The longest tunnel through the mountains in Europe - in Norway. It's 25 km long. There is very beautiful illumination which is make your long car trip through it not so boring.

This is a photo of my daughter on the beautiful sand dunes near Wassenaar, The Netherlands. She is about the go over the crest of the dune and go down to the beach below. These dunes are spectacular.

This is a small stretch of the Chesterfield Canal, in England. The locally famous canal is no longer used for commercial transportation purposes; but it now makes for a nice place to go for a walk instead.
