Hello fellow steemians,

A man-made statue of Lord Shiva which is around 65 feet in Bangalore, India, is one of the tallest statues in India. The construction began in 1993 and completed in 1995.
What a great picture to enter the challenge. I will be announcing the winner shortly so stay tuned. Tomas
This summer I traveled through southeast Asia for 7 weeks. Three of these weeks I was traveling Myanmar with my sister (to be seen in pic). To get to our next destination we had to take a boat with the locals and drive a whole day over Inle Lake. Eventhough it looks like a river we are actually racing over a huge lake covered by plants with only this small path open for the boats. The clouds you see in the back of the picture got us soaked about an hour later.
Myanmar is an unbelievable beautiful country with the kindest people I have ever met! I am sharing this picture mainly because it was one of the best traveldays I have ever had.
I just love your image, thank you so much for your submission. Stay tuned for the winner announcement coming shortly.
Love your picture from Inle lake - I posted a shot from Inle as well :)
I absolutely love your shot! These fishermen were beautiful to watch.
The most beautiful sight at Inle Lake, Myanmar is to see fishermen standing on one leg and wrapping the other around the oar to steer, keeping both hands free to cast the net - a very 'Inle Lake' picture that you won't find elsewhere in the world!
Thanks for the upvote @aksinya
What a wonderful picture for Asian Sunday. Stay tuned for the winner announcement.
I visited Dubai about three years ago and fell in love with it. Such a beautiful city and so innovative in its design. So seeing this amazing photo showing off that gorgeous aerial view is no thing short of spellbinding.
Very well deserved for the win. Great contest!
I hope to see some of your pics entering the competition:)
I shot this image during out trip to the Longji Rice Terraces north of Guilin in China. We were really lucky with the weather. It rained for a whole weekbut we were blessed with sunshine. Beautiful place!
Thanks @czechglobalhosts for this contest and I wish everybody a happy sunday:)

Thank you @dachshund. I have never seen rice fields before and it's really a great experience

No problem. Let's see how long I can keep it up:)
Photo taken at the Hong Kong Harbor. You can see the contrast between the modern architecture in the skyline and the old/traditional represented on the boats that cross the harbour.
What a great entry. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas
A peaceful and beautiful place in India. I visit this place every year. Best place for meditation. Rishikesh is hub of tourist and a must visit place. The calmness of valleys is so loving.

Beautiful landscape - I need to make it there soon especially for rafting!
Yes we enjoyed rafting of 25 km. It was a wonderful experience.
As before I mainly visited Europe and America I wished to vary my travel impressions with South - East Asia. And I got it. Vietnam is a very interesting country with extremely friendly people. And at Cham Towers we got acquainted with some local people. One of many reasons why to go to Vietnam is people!

SEA is impressive for its amazing ancient architecture!
These typical japanese gates are called Torii and they symbolize passing from our profane to the sacred world. They can be made of different materials and are of various colors. Huge torii makes you feel so small.
The picture was taken in Nagasaki.
What a great entry. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon.
This photo was taken a year ago at Divine Mercy Shrine, El Salvador, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. It features a 15.24 meter statue of Jesus. It is a great place to reflect and pray. (That lady in blue is me).
What a great entry. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon.
