So far, very true to the book. I had a few gripes about the first episode and the second but they seem to have dialed down those issues (the music in episode one was good but incessant and -way- too many extended shots of candles and water dripping and nonsense in episode two. By episode three it looks like they've backed off those things in favor of story.) Definitely worth a watch.
