I bought a medium format camera after watching 'Finding Vivian Maier'. I choose the cheapest Twin Reflex camera I could find in my local antique store a Lubitel 2 built in the former USSR.
(Leonard, a writer and Musician living in Berlin).
I was hoping the results would be half as good as they turned out to be. This is easily my favourite camera.
(Francesco the Italian bar tender at my local Pub).
Fantastic colours, beautidul depth and range. These camera's are still the power horses of the industry.
(James who works at Los Cardos a local Mexican food joint).
My Lubitel cost me about £89 ($100). Film is expensive if compared to the unlimited amount of digital photos we can snap but it's worth so much more.
(My wife's great Aunt Lily).
Film captures a moment in time. An illusion burnt into canvas that can stand the test of time. Recieving a fresh batch of developed medium format film is a wonderful experience and digital photography will never out play the thrill and excitement that comes with shooting on film.
(Ander a musician from Sweden).
