These two were part of an experiment I did some time ago.

My very first attempt to shoot macro with a reversed lens.

I struggled quite a bit before managing to get anything in focus, but both these came out pretty ok. At least to me.

This technique, as the name implies, consists in reversing a lens and connect it back to the camera using a reverse ring adapter.

If you're brave enough you can try to do it without the ring, just by reversing the lens in front of your camera's body, but I wouldn't advise you to do that, specially outdoors and specially if you're using a mirrorless body.

For these two images I used a manual Helios 44-2 attached to a Sony a7.
