Wednesday walk - IN THE MONOCHROME CITY
When I woke up that morning ...
... after a series of colorful dreams ...
... It was clear ...
... that in reality ...
... all the colors were gone ...
... vanished ...

... completely disappeared from this world ...
... at first I thought ...
... that something happened to my eyes ...
... my Photoreceptor cells responsible for the color sector of my sight decided to take a day off ...
... or something like that ...
... but ...
... I met other people ...
... while walking ...

... through this desaturated city ...
... and I heard them talking ...
... about this strange phenomenon ...
... some were scared ...
... some just annoyed by the disconcerting traffic lights ...
... some were complaining about these modern times, and remembering how colorful things used to be when they were young ...
... others were pretty sure that we are back in communism ...
... many cool theories were in circulation ...
... two ladies in the park ...
... were discussing the possibility of a sudden revelation ... maybe, for who knows what reason, we are finally out of the Matrix ...
... and this is how the things really are ...
... only the cats ...
... seagulls ...
... and store front mannequins ...

... like they've been in this situation before ...
... it was a great day ...

... but some people ...
... decided to continue ...

... photographing just like I would do on any normal day ...
... and looking for ...
... the precious material ...

... viewed on some old black and white TV ....
... I didn't have a watch ... and all the watches in the city were frozen ...
... it seemed ...
... that in the absence of color ...
... the time ...
... had no impact ...
... and I felt inprisoned ...
... in a strange bublle ...
... of eternity ...
... maybe I'm dead - I thought ...
... but then ...
... slowly ...
... the colors started to come back ...
