It is a wonderful trip of Meghalaya basically the memory of Root Bridge makes me proud as I am able to walk thousand of steps and climbing the two hills . Meghalaya is a state of Northeast India ,capital is shillong , The convenient and cheapest way to go shillong is by taxi and bus from the place of Guwahati, Assam . There are various destinations to visit in Meghalaya --DAWKI ,SHILLONG . AND CHERRAPUJI, Cherrapunji is the Second Wettest place in earth and it is basically famous for Root bridge, Mawsmai Cave and Nohkalikai falls .

We started our journey from Guwahati to Meghalaya , it is 4 hours journey from Guwahati , On the way we stoped our car in DAWKI and had some fun ,it is the first sight getting on the way to Shillong .

After some enjoyment We proceed to Elephanta Falls, Shillong

Next day we drive to CHERRAPUNJI , It is very cloudy weather , due to fog hardly can drive in 30-40km speed per hrs . In Cherrapunji there is only one season Monsoon Monsoon every month , Umbrella is the best friend in Cherrapunji as most raining place in Earth

NEXT DAY WE ARE PREPARED TO VISIT TREES ROOT BRIDGE

We did ready with guide to walk around 15 thousand of ups and down steps which is fully covered by jungle and our leg was shaking like hell while crossing hanging bridge .

We used all the energy to reach the place to see the root bridge , when we arrived at our destination we feel its our huge glory , we forgot all our body pain and keep enjoy the lake , birds singing , crystal water , cold air etc fully natural which is very rare to find out in our modern city . If you search in google map you cannot find out the right way to go root bridge , you need to take a guide .

While coming back we were fully exhausted ,however my wife was getting stomach crams she walks as we need to complete our steps before sunset.!!after all we reached our hotel and take rest ....................... it is a amazing Journey in my live -----Nature displays incredible diversity in all her glory. There are fat trees and skinny ones, short ones and tall ones. Within a single clump of yellow flowers, you might see a pink one and realize that it's a mutation. In nature, we don't say 'How wrong! That flower is different; that tree is fat!' Instead, we say, 'How beautiful!' This impacts us in the level of thought.
