Our little Iggy's nails are black so it is so very easy to cut into the quick by mistake (I did it before). She fusses and pulls away so much that one is forced to compromise and that's when accidents happen. I take her on a lot of walks which keep her nails fairly in check for the moment. She's still young too so I suppose it's a combination of that and my own fear plus maybe I'm using the wrong cookies ;-) cannabis is still illegal here where I am LOL
Ahahahaa!! My doggie Chopo was like that when he was young. He's 10 years old now and he's like "whatever, do whatever you want". I get what you say, I accidentally hurt my sis doggie while cutting her nails and felt miserable because of it 😅
