What a marvelous post. The photographs are simply stunning. And I think the words are even more beautiful.

I don't think I'd go back even if I could. Not that I didn't have fun, or live a pretty charmed childhood, but I passed through. Part of the magic is not knowing what's coming-and by knowing it would take the edge away. Would I be more cautious because I know how much I love life at this point?
