Unfortunately this castle has been abandoned since the beginning of the 16th century, then has fallen into ruins by the 17th century. Parts of this castle has slid off the mountain side, the landslide was caused by an earthquake in 1888.

It is the original Dracula (Vlad Tepes) Castle! Built by Turkish prisoners under the promise that when the castle is finished they would be set free. None of the prisoners made it back home.
