TRADITION
I have a tradition, photographing the first water lily to bloom in our backyard fish pond. I took this yesterday afternoon on a bright sunny day. It is always a sign that summer weather is here.
Each bloom is about four inches round. They close up at night and reopen in the morning. Each bloom last about one week.
Here are some of the fish that live in the pond.

very beautiful 😊😊😊
Thanks.

Lovely. I have mainly pink versions in my pond, but our leaves are just beginning to poke their heads out of the water's surface. It has been a long Spring, but I am not complaining.
I use to have pink ones but the white ones took over.
