A Feather In Mornings Light..

I Was Out Walking ..

The dogs this morning and found a single feather lying in the grass. It gathered a bit of dew that quickly dissipated after it spent time with us indoors through our morning coffee. It got me thinking about my camera, the dust on it, and my lack of creativity over the past several months. I picked it up and gave myself the goal of shooting one single picture. One single picture for Steemit, where my account is also collecting dust..lol.

I Was Pleased To Find ..

This beautiful feather and thought to put it to good use. I placed it on the window sill within the grasp of the first mornings light. I was loving the simple black and white of the whole thing, leaving your imagination the possibilities of filling in the blanks; painting it in your own colors. It harnessed both the soft and hard sides of its beauty. I suppose there is a hard and soft side to everything.. Now isn't there :-)
