Sestroretsk old town
The city of Sestroretsk is located 30 kilometers from St. Petersburg. It stands on the shores of the Gulf of Finland and belongs to the resort area. It got its name from the Sister River. This is a relatively small town in which it is pleasant to wander and spend time relaxing. I especially like the shore of the Gulf of Finland. We often come here to relax. We will still have time to get to know Sestroretsk better.
But now I want to show you the places where the spirit of the time lives
Город Сестрорецк расположен в 30 километрах от Санкт-Петербурга. Он стоит на берегу Финского залива и относится к Курортному району. Своё название получил от реки Сестра. Это относительно небольшой городок в котором приятно побродить и провести время отдыха. Особенно мне нравится берег Финского залива. Мы часто приезжаем сюда отдохнуть.У нас ещё будет время познакомится с Сестрорецком поближе.

Last fall, we just wandered through the red streets. The weather was warm, but there was no sun. Blue skies didn’t get into my shots. But then I found some interesting houses. These are wooden buildings of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Their age is more than 100 years. Once upon a time, these were cottages and spa houses.
Прошлой осенью мы просто бродили по рыжим улицам. Погода была тёплой, но солнца не было. Синие небеса не попали в мои кадры. Но зато я нашёл несколько интересных домов. Это деревянные постройки конца 19 начала 20 веков. Их возраст больше 100 лет. Когда-то это были дачи и курортные дома.
I found some old pictures on the Internet. These are other houses, but they are similar. These houses are living, people live in them. For the health of the house, it is very important that someone lives in it. Otherwise, only the spirit of the time remains in the house.
Я нашёл несколько старых снимков в интернете. Это другие дома, но они похожи. Эти дома являются живыми, в них живут люди. Для самочувствия дома очень важно, чтобы в нём кто-то жил. Иначе в доме остаётся только дух времени.
It’s sad to see the destruction of beauty. These houses could please many people. But there is no real owner. Nobody wants to restore these beautiful buildings. Everyone wants to build new and modern on this earth. Like in the first photo.
Грустно наблюдать разрушение красоты. Эти дома могли бы радовать многих людей. Но здесь нет настоящего хозяина. Никто не хочет восстанавливать эти красивые здания. ВСе хотят на этой земле построить новое и современное. Как на первой фотографии.
Some houses are more fortunate. Life goes on in them. Unfortunately, such houses are becoming less and less.
Некоторым домам повезло больше. В них сохранилась жизнь. К сожалению таких домов становится всё меньше.
