[Sochi 2017] Waterfall Policarya in Gorky Gorod, Sochi
Gorki Gorod is one more mountain village in Sochi neighbourhood. It is less charming than Rosa Khutor, but still interesting to visit. There are many mountain tracks starts from Gorki Gorod and one of these tracks goes to waterfall Policarya.
Unfortunately the track is closed in the night and we had to visit and photograph this waterfall during the day when the light is not that good. Polikarya is the highest waterfall in Sochi and even in summer the slope is covered with ice and snow. It was quite a challenge to climb up this ice covered slope without special equipment and I used my tripod as hiking stick. And I believe I managed to create rather impressive shot of Policarya waterfall even in a harsh daylight. Enjoy!

OMG !!!
Its a Perfect click (Y)
it is dazzling
So tell me @ansharphoto... this picture is not modified in a photo editor?
Whenever I saw one of these I just assumed that they were edited to create that snowy look of the water flowing over the fall. But now, I'm thinking that this is the effect of the long exposure.
This is pretty cool.
I'll have a new appreciation for photos that look like this.
Thanks for sharing.
You have an eye for photography. That is evident in this photo and many others you have taken. I love the Rosa Square photos too.
