Busy Bumblebee
I almost gave up trying to take a picture of this little bumblebee as was in constant motion buzzing around from flower to flower. Finally it landed and stayed still just long enough for me snap a quick picture.
I am concerned about the black insect on the Cosmos flower. It looks like it might be an Earwig. I hope not as they are harmful to plants.

You did really well! I have a hard time capturing bumblebees too. They are too ADHD. I didn't know earwigs were bad for plants. What do they do to them?

Not all of them are bad. I haven't positively identified it but kinda looks like one. They will eat new plant growth. Aphids are usually my biggest problem. I haven't spotted any yet this year. 🙂
I've seen thousands of aphids this year but only on the thistles, and they can eat all they want of those!

I don’t think those black bugs are earwigs, or at least, they aren’t like the earwigs we have around here. They look more like beetles of some kind to me... but I’m no entomologist! 😛

I just hope they love and appreciate flowers and are not harmful....🙂.
