Starfishes are animals with an unusual shape of the body, due to which they attracted attention. The sea stars have different okas. There are a lot of species.
Starfish have a global distribution. They are found in all the seas and oceans from the tropics to the poles. Of course, in warm waters the species diversity is higher than in cold waters. Most species prefer to live in shallow waters, some even find themselves ashore during low tides. But among these animals there are also deep-sea species, including those that live at depths over 9 km!
